We’re a French and Canadian couple who had our dream wedding in France in 2012 – and ran into hurdle after hurdle along the way!
Thankfully, we had family to help us out (some of them living in France), but it was still a bit of a headache for everyone involved because there wasn’t a helpful guidebook to help us navigate planning a wedding in France when you’re living in another country. If one of us hadn’t been French, or we hadn’t spoken the language, it would’ve been even more overwhelming!
We want to be that guidebook for you – maybe you’re only dreaming of someday having a destination in France, or maybe you’re halfway through the planning and realizing the unique hurdles that come with a French wedding. Maybe you don’t even want to get married in France, but want to incorporate traditional French wedding elements so your guests can experience a little of that je ne sais quoi on your big day.
